The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET) Southern Luzon Chapter headed to the Shercon Resort and Ecological Park, Batangas on September 5 and 6 for its 12th Regional Conference. The conference discussed the status of the medical technology profession in the globalization era. PAMET Batangas also aimed to share the current opportunities and trends in the medical industry. Topics like the advances in flow cytometry in the diagnostic setting, the role of the clinical laboratory in the era of personalized medicine, global trends in management, and molecular diagnostics were discussed throughout the program. MEDTEK served as one of the sponsors of the event and took pride of its innovative products and brand of quality.
