Since its main offices are situated in the neighborhood of BF Homes, Paranaque, the JARC Group of Companies has always been an active member of the community. That is why for the BF Paranaque Entrepreneurs & Business Club, Inc’s 2018 golf tournament, the JARC Group was ready to show its support. For the tournament, JARC Group had set up a booth and hosted a free health screening event on-site for all of the attendees.
At 4 AM last November 23, 2018, representatives from the JARC Group of Companies gathered at the main office. They made their way to the Philippine Naval Golf Club at BGC where the tournament was to be held. Upon arrival, they immediately arranged the booth and all the materials they’ll need for the screening. This included the LipidPro glucose meter and the DekaPHAN LAURA urine strips.
Everyone began to arrive at 6 AM. JARC Group readily provided everyone with a breakfast of sandwiches, rice with eggs and longganisa, along with hot coffee to start the day right. While the golf players competed for the title in the morning, spectators as well as the golf club employees start to queue for their free health screening.
In an organized line, the participants were able to go through the process swiftly. First, they had their names registered. Those who chose to have their urine tested also received their cups. They then had the blood pressure checked. With the LipidPro meter, they got to test for their glucose and lipid profile (HDL, LDL, cholesterol, and triglyceride). They got all these results for as fast as 2 minutes. Urine analysis is then performed with the DekaPHAN LAURA strips, which provided results within just a minute.
The quick analysis time made data recording all the more convenient. By the end of the morning, the representatives of JARC Group were able to test about 100 individuals. After distributing the test results, the JARC Group team began to pack their booth up at 11:00 AM. They joined the lunch program prepared at 12:00 PM and wished the players luck on their game. At that, they went on their way, happy to help the participants in learning more about their body’s state and condition.
