Electroline 100 Electrolyte Analyzer

DOES NOT TURN ON AFTER ON SWITCH. NO DISPLAY AND MOTOR MOVEMENT INSIDE.

1. Check if the AVR / UPS is connected to the power outlet

2. Check if the AVR / UPS is turned ON

3. Check if the power cable of the analyzer is connected to the AVR / UPS

4. Check if the analyzer power switch located at the back of the analyzer is turned ON

5. Call JARCET service engineers if the problem persists.

NO REAGENTS FOUND

1. Check the reagent label in the box of the reagent pack. Ensure that the MDX Electroline Plus analyzer must have an MDX Electroline reagent pack without Ca, and the MDX Electroline Ca analyzer must have MDX Electroline Ca reagent pack.

2. Remove the depleted reagent pack and insert the new reagent pack.

3. In the slope calibration screen, press REGIST. Check the reagent level at the right side of the screen to check if it is in full.

4. If the registration failed and the “NO CARD FOUND!” flag appeared, contact JARCET service engineers.

QC FAILED

1. Run a QC test. Go to INPUT. Select QC LEV.III in the state menu. Press the syringe icon located at the upper right corner of the screen.

2. Present the tube with serum in the sample probe and click the syringe icon located at the upper right corner of the screen.

3. Remove the tube after the beep sound. Wait for the result. If the QC result failed.

4. Do visual checking of the QC solution to be sure that no foreign objects are floating inside. If the QC solution is cleared. Do calibration.

5. Go to SERVICE. Select FACTOR and encode 525 then press INPUT.

6. At the right side part of the screen you will see CAL. REFERENCE VALUE menu. Select ONE POINT CALIBRATION. Enter the target value of each analyte.

7. Prepare the QC solution transfer at least 3ml in a plain test tube. Then select START. The probe will go up and it is now time to present the QC solution in the sample probe

8. After the machine calibrates press close. Repeat the #1, #2, and #3 instruction to verify if the QC result already passed.

ABNORMAL, UNSTABLE OR FAILED K, NA, CL, PH OR CA SLOPE

1. In the SLOPE menu repeat the slope calibration by pressing the ELECTROLYTE on the screen. The analyzer will start slope calibration. If the flag still appears. Go to the next step.

2. Press on the SLOPE screen and press CLOSE.

3. Select SERVICE then go to MAINTENANCE. In the maintenance menu check CLEAN PROTEIN. Prepare at least 3ml of WEEKLY CLEANING SOLUTION in a plain test tube.

4. Press CLEAN, the software will now ask you to place the tube in the sample probe. Wait for the beep sound before removing the test tube.

5. The analyzer will now perform clean protein. When the cleaning is done press CLOSE then the analyzer will automatical perform slope calibration.6. If the error flag is still present. Replace the internal filling solution of the affected electrode.

REPLACING ELECTRODE INTERNAL FILLING SOLUTION

1. Open the front door of the analyzer.

2. Open the electrode compartment. Pull the electrode lever.

3. Remove first the REF ELECTRODE. To remove push the electrode upward the pull. Remove the electrode one by one until reached the desired electrode.

4. Open the electrode cap located at the top of the electrode, and turn left to loosen. After removing the cap discard the existing filling solution by inverting the electrode. No need to use a pipettor or syringe.

5. Fill the electrode with a new filling solution (The filling solution is specific to the type of electrode be sure to use the correct filling solution).

6. Place the electrode cap and turn right to tighten (do not over-tighten, if the electrode O-ring is already compressed it’s enough).

7. Install back the electrode this time push up then push forward. The REF ELECTRODE must be the last electrode to install.

8. Push the electrode tensioner lever up. Close the electrode compartment.

9. In the analyzer software go to SERVICE, press CALIBRATION. In the slope menu press ELECTROLYTE. Then the machine will start to perform slope calibration.

10. Call JARCET service engineers if the problem persists.

Erba Lyte Plus / Ca Electrolyte Analyzer

LIQUID POSITIONING FAILED FLAG

1. Remove the liquid positioner and clean the plug with a dry cloth.

2. Reinsert the liquid positioner. Run the sample again.

3. If the problem persists, please contact JARCET service engineers for further assistance.

LIQUID DETECTING FAILED FLAG

1. Open the front door of the analyzer.

2. Check if there is liquid passing thru the electrodes.

3. Remove the liquid positioner and clean the plug with a dry cloth.

4. Reinsert the liquid positioner. Run the sample again.

5. If the problem persists, please contact JARCET service engineers for further assistance.

BUBBLES DETECTED FLAG

1. Open the front door of the analyzer.

2. Check for any disconnected tubing inside the analyzer, reconnect if there is any.

3. Check if the electrodes are compressed.

4. Removed the electrode wires. Removed the tubing before the K electrode and after the REF electrode. Pull out the electrodes.

5. Turn the electrode tensioner located on both ends of the electrode to the right.

6. Resinder the Tube connected to the K and REF electrodes. Reinsert the electrode wires into their designated position.

7. Run a sample.

8. If the problem persists, please contact JARCET service engineers for further assistance.

ABNORMAL SLOPE

1. Remove the electrode wires. Wipe the plugs with a dry cloth. Reinsert the electrode wires.

2. Check if there is liquid passing thru the electrodes. If there is liquid passing the electrodes. Re-run the slope calibration. If no liquid passes thru the electrodes call JARCET service engineers.

3. If the slope is still failed during the recalibration. Removed the electrode wires and tubing connected in K and REF. Pull out the electrode.

4. Remove the specific electrode wire by turning the cap counterclockwise. Discard the filling solution and refill with a fresh one.

5. Close the electrode cap by turning it clockwise. Reinsert the electrode, electrode tubing, and electrode wire.

6. Run a sample.

7. If the problem persists, please contact JARCET service engineers for further assistance.

UNSTABLE SLOPE

Discard the filling solution and refill it with a fresh one.

5. Close the electrode cap by turning it clockwise. Reinsert the electrode, electrode tubing, and electrode wire.

6. Run a sample.

7. If the problem persists, please contact JARCET service engineers for further assistance.
