MEDTEK at the 11th PAMET Mindanao Regional Conference
The PAMET Misamis Oriental – Cagayan de Oro Chapter assembled for their 11th regional conference last August 25 – 27, 2017. Held at the Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro, the annual event gathered Mindanao’s best and brightest in the field of medical technology. The conference, besides serving as a solidifier for the community, was an avenue for learning. The arranged lectures performed their role in furthering the medical technologists’ practice, enacting the event’s theme, ‘Medical Technologists: Gearing Towards World-class Expertise’.
MEDTEK and our sister company MAN Pharma were privileged to contribute in the event as booth exhibitors. Throughout the conference, the delegates were able to visit our booth and view our wide array of diagnostic products. In this conference, we featured the newest releases from our product catalogue.
We showcased the Icon 3 and Icon 5 from our new partner, Norma Diagnostics Solutions. These 3-part and 5-part diff analyzers possess the latest innovations in hematology technology. Their status as the smallest hematology analyzers in the world lets them provide the most convenience for any laboratory type and size. We also introduced the recently released Electroline 100 from MDX Netherlands. Possessing high performance electrodes with elevated precision and wide linearity range, the Electroline 100 is constructed for peak analytical accuracy. We know that with these analyzers, Filipino laboratories can reach new heights of efficiency in workflow.
We’ve also arranged a fun photo raffle for our Mindanao delegates. By taking and sharing their wackiest selfie with our representatives, our booth visitors got the chance to win a brand new Samsung Galaxy J5. This, along with our brand new analyzers and giveaways, generated a lot of interest in our booth, which – like the conference itself – was a total success.
